KUALA LUMPUR: Cosway Corp Bhd said it had received an offer from Global Empires Sdn Bhd (GESB) to take the company private by offering RM1.20 each for shares not already owned by GESB, Bizurai Bijak (M) Sdn Bhd, Garima Holdings Sdn Bhd and Juara Sejati Sdn Bhd. 

The proposal involves the acquisition of the remaining 110.351 million Cosway shares, representing about 32.04% stake in the company. 

GESB, Bizurai, Garima and Juara are all wholly-owned units of Berjaya Corp Bhd. – AFX-Asia
