Big Apple goes Thai

YOU have not seen all of Thailand if you had not experienced its food.

Thai cuisine is internationally famous. Whether chilli-hot or comparatively tame to the taste buds, harmony is the guiding principle behind each dish.

It is a food couture that stresses a harmony between tastes and textures. That is why Thai food is such a feast to look at and to taste.

In conjunction with its three-month promotion, Berjaya Times Square Hotel & Convention Center has specially flown in chef Thitikorn Chenwitchu who hails from the province of Narathiwat in Thailand.

Her love for Thai cuisine began when she was only 10 years old. Later she equipped herself by enrolling into the Rajamangala Institute of Technology in Bangkok, which specialises in Thai cuisine.

She has not looked back since.

Chenwitchu's career, which spanned over 20 years, brought numerous working experiences.

These include Dusit Thani Resort and Polo Club in Cha-Am and Hua Hin as well as a stint in an Italian Restaurant in Bangkok.

Three sets of menu, Chao Phraya, Sawadeekarp and Chulalongkorn, are available during lunch.

Lunch features three set menus while dinner is an elaborate buffet.
Each set has seven dishes, which include appetiser, soup, main dishes and dessert.

Dinner however is a more elaborate affair as Chenwitchu has added a bigger selection to the existing buffet.

The chef's specialities are available not only from the Main Course but also from the soup as well as dessert selections.

The Set Lunch is at RM98++ per set, which is enough for three to four persons and buffet dinner is at RM38++ per adult and RM15++ per child.

This promotion is till end September. For reservations, call 03-2117 8000 ext 8133.
