Third time lucky contractor nets RM7.3mil in lotto game

BLESSINGS, it is said, come in threes. And when luck comes, some believe, it crashes through the roof.

True enough for one bachelor, who won the Sports Toto numbers game not once, not twice, but thrice. His final win was a whopping RM7.3 million.

And all the wins for the contractor from Pahang came within a period of 30 days. Talk about being lucky.

He won the RM7,238,699.60 jackpot in the Super Toto 6/49 game's special draw last Tuesday. The winning set of numbers was: 6, 12, 17, 27, 30 and 47.

His earlier two winnings — which netted him a total of RM11,000 — were in the Toto 4D games.

The man, in his 40s, collected the money from the Sports Toto Malaysia Sdn Bhd office in Berjaya Times Square recently.
